Courmayeur offers great opportunities for shopping, plus jostling bar, cafes, and restaurants, as well as the traditional mountain atmosphere of the quaint streets.

The skiing area has 100 kilometers of downhill runs, both easy and difficult. Some pistes are famous for their tremendous length, others because they host famous competitions, while others are ideal for snowboarding or telemark. At Dolonne you can also ski by night.

From Courmayeur you can reach the highest mountain view. The Mont Blanc cableway, leaving at the 1306 meters of La Palud and arriving at Puta Helbronner's 3486 meters, offers everyone the chance to become spellbound by the magnificent sweeping view over the Italian, French and Swiss Alps.
